Cats hunt. Even when domesticated they can be found roaming the house hunting out things like errant hair bands in the bathroom and such, carrying these prizes back to their lairs or food bowls. Rothko and Loki have a different idea about “prizes”. The other night we heard some commotion around 3:00 AM, but went back to sleep thinking it must have been the wind. The next morning Rothko’s bed betrayed an apparent hunting raid on our tea room….
My cats love the hair bands too! And they can’t resist playing with those little balls of pu-ehr (tuo cha?). Cats make great tea time companions~!
