And then there was Loki, giving us one of those unapologetic looks. You know the kind… typically seen on the face of a cat that is sitting in your spot with full knowledge that you want him to move. In this case, he recognized that we wanted to brew up some Jin Jun Mei in our yixing teapot for black teas, but no… our little cat burglar was not at all keen to relinquish his spoils from the previous night.

      Yes, he could have extracted quite a few cat treats for that pot. That little thing is a Zhang Quanlin handmade piece. Some of his work is in the Beijing and Shanghai museums. I had the privilege of getting this one from Mr. Zhang’s good friend, Wang Shilin, who sources our Xingyang pu’er.
