Varietal
Huang Jin Gui, or “Golden Water Turtle,” is actually most widely tasted when grafted onto Tieguanyin to make Jin Guanyin. It is actually a remarkable show-stopper of an oolong when cultivated for what it has to offer. Huang Jin Gui is hugely fruity with a luscious honey backbone to carry the fruit. Aging deepens the fruity flavor and develops a rich spice that leads into cooling minerality.
