This faceted pot commands a bold presence and sense of drama through its exaggerated geometry, and mirrored facets subtly adorning the teapot spot itself and the lid handle.
These facets give the pot a solid strength on the tea board, and serve to show off the stunningly beautiful Yuan Kuang Qing Duan Ni clay in different angles of light at the same time.
The mottling and warmth of the clay will continue to grow deeper and more lustrous over years of use.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Zhu Huan
Zhu Huan was born in China’s pottery capital, Yixing, in 1989.
She graduated from The Wuxi College of Art and Craft in Jiangsu, and focused from the beginning on apprenticeships with the most highly regarded masters of Yixing craft, and won a research fellowship to study under the top ranked Master Cao Yanping.
Over the course of this fellowship, Zhu Huan not only mastered ancient forms, but developed her own distinctive style, gaining praise from collectors and yixing experts.
