Crafted By Pan Yang

This elegant teapot holds a stunning secret.

Award-winning up and coming potter Pan Yang has concealed a bold and dramatic carving on the base of the teapot itself, only visible while you are pouring tea or while turned over.

The simple graceful lines and warmth of the beautiful golden Duan Ni clay already give this piece a quiet confidence, but when you lift the piece to brew and pour tea, it rewards you and your guests with its secret adornments- speaking to the brewing process as a private and contemplative act shared between family and friends.

We have to work sometimes a year in advance to get a few of Pan Yang’s pieces in thanks to his rising fame, but it is always exciting while they are here. Indeed, a piece like this is ready to keep building a lustrous patina for years to come.
