This clever circular teaboard features a fully waterproof hidden plastic tray to protect the beautiful bamboo board itself.

The circular tea board is a statement piece in gongfu brewing, a symbol of everyone’s equal place at the table for tea, and a mirror of the circular gaiwan, pitcher and cups.

Boards like these can be used on their own for a compact set-up at a desk, or as a tea boat for your favorite Yixing pot, lined up on a runner with a pitcher, cups, and water bowl for a full-sized elegant modern gongfu set.

The dot and line motif for draining is inspired by the trigrams of the Yi Ching.

TEA BOARD CARE & CLEANING

This is tea tray designed to be used as either a stand-alone tea board or a tea boat for modern gongfu style.

Empty this board of all tea and leaves after use, and allow the board dry completely between sessions.

Do not leave wet overnight. Leaving boards wet for extended periods of time can cause wood to warp or crack, and standing water may become unhygienic.

Do not overfill the board or leave standing water on the tray for extended periods of time.

Hand wash with warm, soapy water and a gentle sponge, then air dry completely or wipe dry with a soft cloth.
