This gaiwan is hand-painted in the style of screen paintings, with each persimmon’s sculptural shape captured in their brushwork. The deep rich orange contrasts with classic porcelain blue for a deeply traditional old-school effect.

The highly-vitrified, high-fired porcelain is non-reactive, allowing it to show off each tea's true aroma.
