Varietal
Dangui is a relatively new Wuyi hybrid that traces its lineage back to Rou Gui. This autumn harvest was finished by Master Zhang in the moder green style to bring out intense and lingering florals - like the osmanthus for which this cultivar is named. This is balanced with a satisfying sweet and savory undertone and a fruity vegetal finish that is engaging and refreshing.

'Processed as a green, rolled oolong, the Dan Gui varietal tasted very Japanese on the whole, packed with chlorophyll and more thick, rich deep green flavor than any other varietal we tasted. The aroma was full of lilac, elderflower, and sweet spinach. The first sips reminded us of thick matcha. The tea was super sweet, with fruity support notes and massive green flavor.'
