Incense
Created in collaboration with Xin Yue Workshop and crafted in Taiwan, this is aloeswood to pair with tea.
This incense is a mix of Hainan aloeswood and camphor fiber as a binding agent, with no unnatural scents or fillers added.
We asked our partners at Xin Yue workshop to put together a new series of fine, subtle, tea-appropriate aloeswood incense, and they came through for us, leveraging their connections in Taiwan for the high quality raw materials.
The dry incense has a bright eucalyptus quality tempered by rich classic vanilla undertones and a touch of rose petals. Once lit, this gives a rich encompassing quality with toasty chestnut, contrasting with a cooling nutmeg sensation and salty limestone minerality with the faintest hint of melon.
Each paper canister includes about 80 sticks of this aloeswood. Each stick is about a 40 minute burn - perfect for lighting before tea time or enjoying during a relaxed tea session.
