This “Hang Gu” yixing tea pot from Yan Xiang is hand built with rich Di Cao Qing Ni. One side of the pot is carved with confidently sparse calligraphy, while a bearded sage rests thoughtfully on the other side. The wide lid and spacious body on this large pot make this great for large groups; with teas like Wuyi oolong or dancong, the warm clay will grow deeper and more lustrous over years of careful brewing. The lid is well-fitted, and the spout and handle are sculpted for a lifetime of use.
