This partial glazed tea set is a new style of ceramics from the Taiwanese workshop Hao Yue Ceramics Culture Group. All eight pieces in this set are made from high-fired ceramic with Jingdezhen-style porcelain glaze. These pieces are very challenging to make, since ceramic and porcelain are normally fired at different temperatures. The kiln must unite both materials at one very high temperature without warping or cracking.
