The Li Family makes stunning, award-winning Shui Xian. They have honed in such perfect finishing for this iconic varietal that every Shui Xian they offer is a masterpiece. For the first time ever, they were able to spare a few pounds of this special wild arbor harvest. While the trees aren't necessarily as old as their Old Tree Shui Xian, the wild arbor picking is just as wild and deeply complex. Notes of red date, elderberry, candied almond, daffodil, honey, camphor and rosemary with a resinous powerful cooling aftertaste.

  • 'The Wuyishan Ecological Preserve was shaped by ancient volcanoes, giving it a mix of extremely rocky and sandy soil. This soil contributes to the flavor of the region’s tea though regulating water drainage and encouraging deeper roots, as well as through its mineral-rich mix of nutrients the tea absorbs as it grows.'
