In his own words, Mr. He speaks about this 2020 spring tea harvest in Laoshan.
“This year is unique. The Da Tian harvest (picked after the greenhouses come down) is much later. Normally, it is mid-April. This year, it is two weeks late… Everything is growing so slowly. This is good for the tea… I am really happy with the quality this year. There is a rich, deep aroma. The texture is so full.”
Verdant Tea co-owners Ren Weiwei and He Qingqing used their phones to film at the family workshop at the beginning of May, during the harvest and finishing for this year’s Special Grade and Reserve Laoshan green teas. We’re all so excited about this year’s tea!
