New teas from our partners across China are on the way!
Although new international logistics challenges this year make shipping times for both restocks and new harvests longer, we are doubling down on our commitment to our partners. From the He Family in Laoshan and Mrs. Li in Dragonwell to the Zhenyuan Dongsa Cooperative in Qianjiazhai, we are building a plan together for the year ahead, pre-buying harvests and booking shipments out as early as possible.
This page is part of our commitment to support both our partners and tea lovers around the world. We will use this page to bring more transparency to our supply chain by sharing all of the new teas, fresh harvests, and restock teas that are currently on the way and coming soon. You can use this page to check on your favorite teas’ estimated arrivals, learn more about what’s on the way, and even reserve select teas already enroute from our partners in China to our fulfillment office in Minnesota.
How it Works:
New teas will be added to the collections below, along with detailed information about their current status and estimated arrival times.
All teas begin as a Planned Shipment. During this stage, our partners have worked with us to decide to send a new tea, new harvest, or restock tea to be added to their collections online and made available to tea lovers around the world. A planned shipment is being prepped at the farm – picked and finished, then prepped and packed up to be send to our headquarters in Laoshan.
Next, teas are Prepping. During this stage, the teas are being checked, prepped, and consolidated for international shipping by Weiwei and He Qingqing and our headquarters in Laoshan. Once this is complete, the teas will be Awaiting Transport.
Teas that are Awaiting Transport are boxed, prepped, and in the hands of our international shipping partners. Teas will be Awaiting Transport until there is space on a flight from China to the United States. With flights currently significantly reduced and many ports closed down or critically backed-up, teas Awaiting Transport will be on hold between a few days up to two to three weeks, waiting in line for a spot.
Once space on a flight is secured, teas will be In Transit from China to the United States, and will arrive shortly at our office and fulfillment warehouse in Minnesota. We’ll continue monitoring these incoming shipments, and coordinate with our logistics partners to make sure our teas arrive as soon as possible.
As soon as the teas arrive in the US, they will be officially Upcoming Releases! Once we have confirmed our inventories and fulfilled all outstanding pre-orders, we will set up any new product pages and then these teas will be in stock and shipping ASAP to tea lovers around the world!
These teas have just arrived!! We currently preparing tasting notes and photos, and we expect to make these available and in stock ASAP. Check back soon, as we prepare to move them from coming soon to in stock.
Teas are always on the way! When teas have secured a precious shipping slot from China to our US office, we will share them in this section.
There are currently no teas in line to await final transport. Teas awaiting final transportation have cleared Chinese export customs, and are at their final port of departure.
These teas are being packed up for final transport, but have not yet reached the final port of departure.
These teas have been sent up to our office in Laoshan to be packed up and included in upcoming shipments. We plan to receive these teas in the US in later summer or early autumn. In addition to the teas listed below, a wide variety of new Wuyi oolong and black teas are also included in our next planned shipments.
