Part of Wang Yanxin’s guest curator pu’er collection, an opportunity to try unique aged pu’ers from growing regions and workshops across Yunnan.
Wang Yanxin is releasing this 2006 offering from her private reserve as part of her limited time “pop-up” guest curation through Verdant. She selected this stand-out shu pu’er for its mineral undertones and sticky rice aromatics. The last decade of aging have brought out cooling pine, subtle fruity undertones and deep complexity. This tea is a perfect example of that clean sweet musty quality that shu pu’er develops over many years. The 100g mini-cake is a perfect size to store some long term and break some open for tasting now.
