Originally featured in our CSA-style tea club, this spring-fed tea comes from Li Xiangxi's family in Tongmu. Their proceeds go to teaching Wuyi tea ceremony.
Jin Guanyin is an unique varietal made by grafting Huang Jin Gui onto Tieguanyin root stock. Also grown in Anxi and often finished as a greener rolled oolong, the Li Family grows this tea in their fields in Tongmu and treats it to a slow and subtle roast. This creates a truly compelling tea that shines with traditional gong fu brewing, revealing strikingly different aspects of this complex tea with every steeping.
