This tea is one of Mr. He's special projects, carefully crafted with hand-picked smaller buds and oxidized in the sun over three days. This year's harvests are special; the He Family's plants have spent a year recovering from the bitter cold of 2016 that killed so much of Laoshan's tea fields, and the teas are sweeter for it. The fall harvest has a toasted rice, cherry, and cocoa profile, with a much more mellow version of Laoshan Black's classic chocolate notes.
