While some shu pu’er is fully focused in a single direction (like cooling foresty notes or warm brown sugar) this cake manages a tight, carefully composed balance of deep minerality, warming spice, cooling camphor, juicy fruit and malty savory undertones, all hitting different parts of the pallet over time. Over a decade of age has given this blend the time it needed to harmonize all the flavor elements for an elegant taste experience.
