Pioneers and community leaders in Laoshan Village, the He family is one of the first to plant tea on the misty ocean-facing slopes of the Taoist Holy Mountain they call home.
Despite Laoshan Village only having fifty years of tea cultivation and oolong being the most technically demanding kind of tea in the world to produce, Laoshan Oolong is becoming more popular each season since the He Family first experimented with it in 2013. The careful kneading and rolling brings out a beautiful, pure expression of the minerality of the soil and the water, helped by this year's more temperate spring. This tea is processed without a roast for a true green flavor of Laoshan.
This tea comes pre-packaged in individual 5g portions.
