Crafted By Chen Liang
This teapot was hand built by Chen Liang with zhuni clay, ready for years of use. The clay will build a patina and darken over time. The lid is perfectly fitted to the body, with a playful top evoking the stem on an eggplant (or aubergine). The wide lid opening and large "belly" makes this pot great for fluffy teas like dancong, Wuyi oolong or sheng pu’er maocha.
