    This beautiful tuocha is pressed from 100 year tree leaf material and aged for nearly eight years. The result is a rich powerful sheng full of deep cedar and burdock notes and an intense cooling sensation in the aftertaste. This sheng manages to be incredibly potent without any bitter or dry notes. Its woody texture and complex flavor is promising for aging.


  • 'The first infusion reminds us of being in a Chinese apothecary- tons of mineral texture and camphor goodness, while the second infusion brings out more fruity notes – goji, plum and crisp burdock. Late infusions bring out a beautiful, tingling sparkling sensation, complementing a woody birch bark flavor with touches of neroli and sarsaparilla.'
