This tea is wild picked by Master Zhou in the oldest tea forest in the world. The leaves in this cake are called the Zun harvest, from 1000 year old trees. This 100g cake was stone-pressed in a custom mold carved by Master Zhou just for Verdant's new pu'er release series. About 75 hand editioned cakes were pressed in total. The complex, woody sandalwood flavor supports a remarkably sweet brew with strong aromatics and a numbing, tingling mouthfeel usually found in much older aged puer teas.

  • 'How incredible that we get to drink leaves from a tree whose roots go so deep! Deeper roots draw from undisturbed soil and deep mountain springs. This Thousand Year Tree Sheng truly stands apart from the younger trees with its first wafting aroma.'
