Subtle but perfectly confident calligraphy in gold contrasts against the green pot body. The perfect geometry of the Shi Piao form that Tang Xianwu captures in this pot, a study of triangular ratio, would seem daunting to pair with organic calligraphy, but not for Tang Xianwu.
