This particular pot is inspired by Tang Xianwu’s time outdoors observing the intricate curves of the water chestnut as it floats in a pond.

Those curves are evoked with Tang Xianwu’s masterful and incredibly precise faceting, while the sense of sun glinting off water at midday is brought to bear with the careful application of gold, ready to grow even more lustrous with years of brewing.
